Goodbye 2020

What a year it has been. When COVID-19 first closed down my weekly dance classes in March, I was not even thinking about Dancing New Year's Eve CT. It was too far off to even consider that dancing would be affected for so long. Around June, I began to realize that our fun event might be altered.

As a way to have a fresh look for 2019, I have updated the website to have a more modern look. Since the first year of Dancing New Year's Eve CT in 2012, I have used the same template. While the former template was great, it started to seem cluttered. Today's website layouts are bigger on the screen and still respond to both tablets and smart phones. I hope you find the new design to be easy to read, visually pleasing, and informative. Most of all, I hope you find the updated website encouraging to being a part of this fun new year's event.

Just before the Christmas holiday, we received a call from a reporter at itsrelevant.com to schedule an interview about our Dancing New Year's Eve CT event in Stamford. Itsrelevent.com is a website that is covering interesting news stories in the Greenwich, Stamford, and Norwalk areas.

Winter Solstice

Every year, on approximately December 21, we enjoy the winter solstice or the longest night. The winter solstice is an astronomical event based on the northern hemisphere's maximum tilt away from the sun. This relationship gives us the the shortest day / longest night event that symbolizes the beginning of the winter season.

December 15 - Halfway through December

We are officially halfway through December 2013. Which means we have 15 more days until Dancing New Year's Eve CT in Stamford, CT.

New Year's Eve Registrations Have Started Early

Our First Registrations - 2012 and 2013

Early Bird Special for Early Registration to Dancing New Year's Eve CTI'm so happy that people have started to register early for Dancing New Year's Eve CT. In 2012, we didn't have our first registration until October 23. This year, our first registration was on May 24.

Perhaps this is simply because we had our website and payment options available immediately after last year's event. Maybe it was because we had a discount expiration on July 1 and Oct 1. Or perhaps, attendees from last year wanted to make sure that they had their plans for the best New Year's Eve party in Connecticut.

It's beginning to look a lot like New Year's

Happy New Year in Connecticut SnowWe are finally in the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve. I am so impressed by all the registrations for our Dancing New Year's Eve CT event in Stamford, CT. We have so many people signed up for dinner - many first-timers to our dance events. Anna and I are looking forward to putting all the finishing touches on the event so that people will feel like the change of chapter from 2012 to 2013 is fun, exciting and inclusive.

Excited about December

December We are very excited that we are entering December with a good amount of registrations for Dancing New Year's Eve CT. I'm always impressed with people who are sensible enough to consider their New Year's Eve plans in November and early December.
